CURSE IT (1) made it back-to-back wins when successful last start over 1m at Cranbourne, getting home by a head. Winning rider Logan Bates retains the mount. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. ALL SO CLEAR (3) looks close to a win, finishing in the placings at his last couple of runs including a second most recently over 1m2f at Cranbourne when beaten a long neck. Will find this tougher but is among the leading chances. BAYOU MUSIC (10) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he settled well back over 1m at Pakenham, beaten 5 lengths into sixth. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. HALLOWED HALLS (11) produced a reasonable effort when fourth last start over 7½f at Sandown-Hillside. That followed a win at Pakenham the start prior. In contention this time.
