LOUD CHARLIE (5) is a talented gelding who tackled tougher grade last time, finishing 5. 5 lengths behind Sixties over 7f in the G3 CS Hayes Stakes at Flemington. Is going well this campaign, recording a win and a minor placing from three starts. Should prove tough to beat. BOLD STRIKE (6) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Sandown-Hillside, finishing fourth and only 1. 5 lengths from the winner at the end of 7f. Finds a suitable race and can find the winner's circle. CACHINK (1) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at Colac over 1m. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. CHANTRA (8) finished third at Moe two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 1m at this track, finishing 5 lengths back in sixth. Open to improvement and should be about the money.
