WILLIAMSTOWN (7) bounced back last start and scored by a long neck after being in contention on the corner over 7½f at Mornington. Steps up a level but he is worth serious consideration. CROWN CRUSHER (2) settled well back when 11 lengths from the winner in 15th over 1m at Caulfield last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth at Wangaratta the run before. This is a nice drop in grade so he is likely to play a big role. DIDN'T MISS MANY (5) settled well back then made some inroads and finished 4 lengths away in eighth last time out over 7f at Sandown-Hillside when when resuming from a lay-off. Steps up in journey. Strong top-three chance. NARBOLD (8) returned from a lay-off four weeks ago when he was beaten 2.75 lengths into seventh over 7f at Sandown-Hillside. Fitter so can feature in the finish.
