CORRUPTED (4) resumed over 5f at Mornington last start and after showing little early speed closed hard to score by 1.3 lengths. Will prove tough to hold out again. ESCARPA (6) is yet to miss the placings in two starts, including a win. Is at the races for the first time since she finished third over 6f at Seymour on September 15. Has plenty of upside so a bold showing is expected. MISS SUNSHINE (7) worked home well and finished third last time over 5f at Mornington when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 1.75 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again. SONTAY (9) is a promising type who hasn't raced since finishing 5.5 lengths away in sixth over 6f at Ballarat on August 8. Has never missed the frame when fresh from a lay-off in two starts. Should camp just off the leaders. Not to be discounted.
