THURMOND (8) is going over the jumps for the first time. Finished 7 lengths away ninth at the latest appearance on the flat over 1m4 1/4f at Geelong. Sure to prove tough to beat. ZOOM (9) missed the placings last time out on the flat over 1m7 3/4f at Warrnambool. Has been over the jumps once before and clocked-in third at this track back on July 5. Expect him to pose a serious challenge. SHOGUN EXPRESS (6) has not been a factor of late. Last time out he was out of the money in a hurdle (2m1/2f) at Coleraine. That came after he in a hurdle (2m) at Hamilton. Can turn things around. SUNDAY BUZZ (7) missed the frame in a in a 1m3f flat contest at Donald then again missed out in a hurdle (2m1 1/2f) at this track last time. Worth consideration.
