LORD GOLDBERG (4) could only manage to finish sixth 18 days back (2m1 1/4f) at Warrnambool. That result followed a solid third in a hurdle (2m1/4f) at Ballarat Synthetic two starts ago. No surprise to see him in the finish. BALINOR (1) has been racing well. Finished second last start in a hurdle (2m) at Warrnambool after he got the job done on the flat at Moonee Valley the run before. Can turn things around. ZEGALO (9) has missed the placings in two outings this prep. Finished seventh when fresh from a lay-off in a flat race at Sandown-Lakeside then tackled the jumps last time and was 21 lengths away in sixth in a hurdle (2m) at Warrnambool. Watch for a better run this time.
