PACIFIC REEL (3) again failed to feature last start, finishing tenth and beaten 21 lengths over 1m1/4f at Grafton. Blinkers come off now. Sure to go well. HALLOWEEN HOLLY (6) is yet to break through after four career starts. Could only manage to finish fourth last time out over 7f128yards at Coffs Harbour following a minor placing at Port Macquarie over 6f the run prior. Should be in the mix. LAGAVULIN (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she got a long way back over 6f at Port Macquarie, beaten 7 lengths into seventh. Nicely placed to get the prize. LEGIN (1) ran a better race when second up last time out, finishing fourth over 1m1/4f at Grafton. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Deserves respect on best figures.
