QICKWIT (9) turned in a modest performance when seventh last time out over 5¼f at Gold Coast Poly, beaten 9 lengths. That followed a win at Esk at the previous outing. Finds a more suitable contest and can rediscover winning form. LI'L MISS HELLCAT (19) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5½f at Lismore, beaten 5.5 lengths into fifth. This is a nice drop in grade so she is one of the main contenders. LOCKUP THE KITTENS (13) was in the money two starts back at Grafton but was unable to repeat the effort last time when seventh, beaten 4 lengths, at Lismore over 6f. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
