GOODWIN FACE (6) finally got off the mark at the eighth attempt when landing a 2m contest at Plumpton and is unlikely to be too far away if in the same form. DOG FOX (5) patchy record of late since winning at Uttoxeter last summer. Looked in need of the run at Bangor-On-Dee last month and now needs to improve physically to get involved for win purposes. LIGHTENING COMPANY (3) had pulled up on the last start over hurdles here last August but has won twice on the flat since. Not ruled out. JOLIE COEUR ALLEN (4) should improve from the first run for five months when third at Sedgefield. Better expected.
