Race Tip

SIMPLY ROSSO (4) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 6f at this track, beaten a nose after being prominent at the turn. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. MARS MISSION (7) turned in a strong run two starts ago at this track then failed to back it up over 6f at Roebourne last time, beaten 4. 5 lengths into fifth. Looks better placed over this shorter trip so should prove tough to beat. LACEVINSKY (1) is yet to fill a placing in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when fifth over 7f at this track after he got a long way back. Cherry-ripe now and will be tough to beat. KOTE (2) finished in the placings when a 1. 5 lengths third on dirt at this track in a but then disappointed on turf last time at Belmont Park over 6½f when 12th, finishing 7 lengths from the winner. Well worth including back to dirt here.
