SPRIGHTLY AFFAIR (6) raced on the speed last start and battled on well but found one better over 5½f at Hawkesbury. Jean Van Overmeire stays aboard. Fitter and a likely improver. YANGZI RIVER (7) impressed when successful on debut over 6½f at Kembla Grange two-and-a-half weeks ago. Has since been kept ticking over with a Rosehill trial. Has upside and looks a key runner.
