AETHELWULF (6) scored at his most recent appearance, getting home by 6 lengths over 1m at Kembla Grange as favourite. That continued the very strong form this campaign, with two wins from three runs. Big chance once again. MICHELANGELO (8) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 2. 5 lengths away in fifth last time out over 1m1f at Randwick after being prominent at the turn. Has the class to take this out. CASTAGNOLA (7) finished half a length away in fourth last time out over 7½f at Hawkesbury after being in contention on the turn two-and-a-half weeks ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Harder here but can measure up. I AM THE EMPIRE (1) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 7 lengths back in tenth over 1m1 1/2f at this track. Solid top-three prospects.
