LOVE SHUCK (3) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when second over 6f at Canberra Acton. Should be handy in the run. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is one of the key runners. TUSCANY (8) showed good early dash and stalked the pace last start before drawing clear to score by a nose over 6f at Kembla Grange. Going well and should give a bold sight again. PERFECT PICTURE (10) was given a short break after finishing eighth over 6½f at Warwick Farm. Kept ticking over since that run with a trial at Hawkesbury. Comes here with definite winning claims. ALPHARD (11) was narrowly beaten into second when second up last start at Randwick Kensington over 6½f. Should be poised just off the lead. Not to be discounted.
