Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he cannot be overlooked. RHETORIC (2) settled in the leading division on debut last start but wilted close to home and finished fourth, beaten 1. 75 lengths, over 6f at this track. Likely improver who is expected to be in the finish. EYNESBURY (4) has not raced since his debut back on April 19 when he finished ninth over 7f at Kembla Grange. Worth following up. PICCADERRO (5) resumes from a lay-off of six months. Could only manage to finish seventh at the latest run over 6½f at Wyong. Looks ready to run following a minor placing in a recent Beaumont (Newcastle) trial. Solid top-three hope.
