MOGO MAGIC (1) took advantage of the good draw and raced on the pace last start before tiring to finish tenth, beaten 10 lengths, over 6½f at Randwick. Expected to be in this for a long way. BALKANS (7) was prominent at the corner and progressed nicely last start to finish a close third over 5½f at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is right in contention. ROLLING MAGIC (5) finished second last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 6½f at Rosehill, beaten a head. Has the talent to find the winners' list. THE GREAT HOUDINI (4) was beaten 3. 5 lengths into fifth in a 6f contest at Randwick three-and-a-half weeks ago. Nicely placed to find some form.
