PLACID PEARL (6) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when fourth, beaten 3 lengths, over 7½f at Randwick. First try at the trip but she strips fitter and is expected to feature in the finish. HORIZONS (4) showed good early speed from the inside draw last time out, leading for home before finding a couple better over 1m1f at Randwick. Will take catching. WOUNDER (9) hasn't been too far away of late, the latest effort a fourth, beaten 1. 4 lengths, at Warwick Farm over 1m2 1/2f. Has been thereabouts without winning and looks well placed to break through. KING JERRY (5) improved sharply last time out to score by 6 lengths over 1m3/4f at Muswellbrook two-and-a-half weeks ago. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat again in this suitable race.
