SOUTHERN HEIRESS (13) wasted no time getting off the mark on debut over 4½f at Newcastle three-and-a-half weeks ago. Likely improver with bright prospects again. CANPIKAPONY (4) opened this prep with a win then was not as effective last time out when fifth over 5½f at Randwick Kensington, beaten 6 lengths. One of the main hopes.
