METAPHORICALLY (1) faded last time to finish 11th over 6½f at Randwick Kensington after showing good early speed. Expected to do much better. EXCEED PERFECTION (11) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well when returning from a break last time at Gosford, finishing second and only one length from the winner at the end of 5½f. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is right in contention. LA ROJA (6) lines up for the first time since March 9. Looking to emulate her win at Warwick Farm at the beginning of last prep. Has found the right race and is worth including. THE REPLICANT (10) showed good early speed last start before boxing on well and finishing second, beaten 0.7 lengths, over this trip at this track. Placed to advantage so expect a big run.
