STALLONE (8) led into the straight last start over 1m at Randwick on a soft ground but could not sustain the pressure and finished seventh. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Expected to be in the finish. CELTIC SIN (10) improved sharply on her ninth two starts back at Hawkesbury with a win over 7½f at Hawkesbury three weeks ago, getting home by 2.5 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Meeting a deeper field this time but she is good enough to play a major role. JACOB'S TIME (7) followed an unplaced effort when resuming two runs back with a third last start over 7¾f at this track after being prominent at the turn. Olivia Chambers gets the best out of this four-year-old gelding. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role. NARBOLD (4) comes here off a freshen-up of a month after finishing eighth at his latest appearance over 1m at Flemington. Can do much better.
