Will be tough to hold out. KUREDER (1) made a strong late bid but just failed to pick up the winner last start over 7¾f at this track. Should be near his peak for this. Placed to advantage and can feature in the finish. SMART LEGEND (4) was sent forward last time out and boxed on to finish a nose from the winner in third at this track over 1m1 1/2f. Yet to find winning form this prep but has been thereabouts with five placings from six starts. One of the fringe hopes.
