Meets some better types this time but a big run is on the cards. SHANCES R (6) is a two-year-old colt facing the starter for the first time. From a strong family that has produced at black type level, being by Shancelot from Kitty Boo. Looks one of the better chances despite a difficult draw. FROSTED PEACH (1) is on debut for the Joel Berndt stable. Two-year-old filly by Frosted from Raggedy Doll Peach. Can measure up. Betting crucial. NAVARRE (2) was safely held last start on debut over 4½f at this track (Dirt). Should appreciate the longer journey now. Will take a lot from that hitout and should do much better.
