XCESSIVE FORCE (8) pushed forward and went on to record a determined win when resuming last start by 2 lengths over 6½f at Goulburn. Will take advantage of the good draw. Likely improver with strong prospects. BAVETTE (10) has been in the money at his last couple of runs, the latest when third over 7f at Parkes. Meets a tougher line-up this time but should be in the finish. CHASING A QUID (9) showed good early speed and raced on the pace last start before fading to finish tenth, beaten 4. 5 lengths, over 6f at Sapphire Coast. Must be included among the main hopes. LUNA ANGEL (12) was beaten 4 lengths into fifth in a 6¼f contest at Canterbury last time out. Worth noting Teaghan Martin goes aboard. Nicely placed to find some form.
