MYSTERIOUS MASTER (2) showed good early dash and led for most of the way before fading to finish 1. 5 lengths away in fourth over 6½f at Hawkesbury. Expected to be in this for a long way. SHUTTERING (12) was in the money at Queanbeyan when resuming two runs back then could only manage fourth at this track over 5f two-and-a-half weeks ago. Shapes as one of the top chances. BOLD ALLIANCE (10) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5½f at Hawkesbury, beaten 1. 75 lengths into fifth after being in the firing line on the turn. Finds a nice race and can turn things around. ALAMAGAN (1) is a two-start maiden who returned last time and finished ninth at Kembla Grange over 6½f, beaten 5 lengths. Will derive great benefit from that outing and deserves consideration.
