SMART AND MIGHTY (2) has been kept fresh since filling a minor placing at Albury over 4½f four weeks ago. Looks to be ticking over nicely judging by a recent trial win at Wangaratta. Likely to take beating if he finds his best form. NORTHLANDER (3) is a gelding by North Pacific out of Miss Stratophonic making his first appearance. Should take a lot from a placing in a recent Warwick Farm trial with this rider Dylan Gibbons aboard. Bold showing expected. POMBIA (6) made progress last time out, finishing 4 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 5f at Wyong. Ideally placed and is sure to be there at the finish.
