SPIRITS BURN DEEP (9) returned to winning form as favourite last start, scoring by 1.3 lengths over this journey at Goulburn. Has a good record at this trip with two wins and two placings. Definite winning hope. EPAULLO CREED (4) displayed plenty of early toe over 7f38yards at Moruya last time and defied all challengers to score by a nose. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. TOES IN THE WATER (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7f38yards at Moruya, beaten 3 lengths into seventh. Well placed to make amends.
