AETHELFLAED (4) was last at the races when she finished second over 1m4 1/2f in the G1 VRC Oaks at Flemington on November 9 2023. Rates highly and should take some beating. LA GRACIA (10) was prominent into the straight last time but faltered late to finish fourth over 1m at Tamworth. Well placed on this occasion and gets her chance to break the ice. MY CARTOUCHE (11) made considerable ground in the run home to finish third last start over 1m2f at this track. Should be winding up late again. ANA CAROLINA (5) raced on the pace over 1m1f at Gundagai last time and went on to win by 0.8 lengths. Has been in sound form this prep with a win and three minor placings from six outings. Not to be discounted.
