SHERIFF'S STAR (7) showed good early speed from the inside draw last time and stalked the lead before fading to finish fourth over 6f at Newcastle at the first run back from a lay-off. Expected to be in this for a long way. DOLLARS (2) is back after a break of four-and-a-half months. At the last run before the layoff he finished 11th over 7f at Newcastle. Has had the benefit of two trials leading into this. Hard to beat if back in good order as anticipated. LEOVANNI (14) raced once in the maiden campaign when fifth at Hawkesbury over 5f back on August 22. Will be better for that run and is expected to go well. EXCLUSIVE ARTIST (13) resumes after just one run in first campaign where she finished in the money at Muswellbrook. Fitter for a trial and should run well again.
