Great chance to break through. MAL COUPE (7) faded late last time over 6½f at Newcastle after showing good early speed, eventually finishing fourth. Expected to measure up again. RAMPAZETTO (1) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when he was beaten 2.5 lengths into fifth over 6½f at Hawkesbury. Finds an easier assignment and can take this out. IRISH JIG (5) stepped out on his debut over 6½f at Hawkesbury three weeks ago and finished sixth, beaten 4 lengths. Should be thereabouts.
