MOONLIGHT GAMBLER (3) ran well on debut last start to finish third over 5f at Kembla Grange in a tougher race. Has plenty of upside so he shouldn't be a maiden for long. BOTTLER (1) resumes from a lay-off of five-and-a-half months. Could only manage to finish sixth at the latest run over 6f at Kembla Grange. Ran sixth in a recent trial at Warwick Farm. No surprise if he was able to get off the mark. TAXPAYER (6) returns from a substantial lay-off and tackles a synthetic track for the first time. Opened last prep with a second at Wyong over 5½f. One of the main chances with the blinkers coming off. } phobos (4) has not raced since being well supported on his debut back on april 25 when he finished fifth over 6f at gosford. Top-three chance with that run under his belt.
