Race Tip

HURRICANE CONI (7) was impressive last time over 1m1/4f at Moruya, scoring by 2.75 lengths. Will find this a little tougher but is among the leading chances. POKER DICE (6) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing fourth and beaten only 1.4 lengths over 1m at this track when he made late ground. The engagement of Jack Martin is a positive move. Has the ability to produce another positive result. MERISI (1) turned things around last start and got the job done by a head after being in contention on the turn over 1m at this track. Enjoys a drop in grade so he is sure to be right there at the finish. RAPID OUTLAW (5) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Nowra, beaten 2.5 lengths into eighth. Better than recent efforts suggest.
