Should be getting home hard and is sure to be tough to beat. NOTTINGTON PRINCE (4) ran on strongly but just failed to pick up the winner as favourite last start over 5f at Townsville. Nicely placed to play a major role. KIRIKAN (6) turned in a sound effort last time but found one better at Townsville over 7f, beaten 1. 2 lengths. Has a decent record at this track with three minor placings from four runs. Shapes as one to consider. MCLOVIN (8) settled well back from a wide draw last time then wound up strongly to finish fourth over 5f at Townsville. Should prove tough to hold out.
