SHERE KHAN (4) turned in a fine effort to score by half a length at this track and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. SUPER TWENTY THREE (1) is on a quick turnaround after a moderate fifth over 6f at Townsville a week-and-a-half ago. Can make amends. GERALDINE'S WISH (11) got off the mark when resuming from a lay-off over 5f at Atherton last start, scoring by 0. 6 lengths. Tougher task this time but expected to be competitive again.
