RUSSIAN SUMMER (8) bounced back last start and got the job done by half a length when he came with a powerful finish as favourite over 6f at Innisfail. Taking on a better line-up this time but he deserves plenty of thought. MELO MELO KAVA (6) didn't do a bad job when fourth last start over 5½f at Mackay. That followed a win at Mackay the start prior. Finds a suitable race and can run a bold race.
