FODOR (2) proved too strong two runs ago at this track. Safely held last time out when third over 7f at Townsville, beaten 4 lengths after being prominent at the bend. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot make amends. TYCOON BEAU (4) resumed over 5f and turned in a fair run to finish fourth at Townsville. With the run under his belt the extra ground looks a plus and should be much improved. SPIRIT MEISTER (8) is coming off a last-start fifth, beaten 3 lengths, over 6f at Innisfail. Has a solid record here including six wins and 16 minor placings from 27 outings. Should run very well. LIDDER VALLEY (3) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5f at Townsville, beaten 4 lengths. Fitter and sure to run well.
