Nicely placed to kick off another successful campaign. GAMADALE NIP (4) settled well back from a good draw last time before closing well to finish fourth, beaten 4 lengths, over 5f at Townsville. Among the chances and will be tough to stop. THREEBROTHERS (8) was prominent at the corner and finished second last start over 4¾f at this track, beaten a nose. Should be cherry-ripe. Suitably placed so anticipating another strong effort.
