Second up record is very strong. Leading chance on best form. IMPARDOO (5) last raced when successful by half a length over 6¼f at this track three-and-a-half months ago. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. RIGEL STAR (3) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a fourth over 5½f at Mackay after being prominent at the corner. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
