ACES UP (4) has scored at his last two starts, most recently by a neck over 7f at Gayndah. That continued the good form this campaign, with two wins and two minor placings from five runs. Can measure up again. FROSTY BEAR (6) hit the frame when resuming two runs back at Gladstone but couldn't back it up last start when seventh, beaten 4 lengths, over 6f at Rockhampton. Yet to miss the placings from six starts at this track. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. VILLADEN (2) is a distance specialist who progressed nicely last time out to finish just a neck from the winner in second over 7f at Gayndah. Finds a tougher race but another big run is on the cards. DESIAH (5) was safely held when eighth last time out over 6f at Eagle Farm, beaten 8 lengths, after a win at this track at the previous outing. Nicely placed to play a leading role.
