HEAT (5) has been freshened since being narrowly beaten last time, finishing second over 5f98yards at this track. Genuine contender. FROSTY BEAR (4) got well back over 6f at Rockhampton last time and never threatened, eventually finishing 5. 5 lengths away in ninth. Has raced five times here and has never missed the frame. Finds a more suitable contest and can take this out. HURTLE (1) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5f at Emerald, beaten 4 lengths. Strips fitter and can figure in the finish.
