BARTIME (7) showed early speed from a good draw and led until entering the straight last start, eventually holding on for third and beaten 1.5 lengths over 7f at Pinjarra. Well-placed and is going to prove tough to run down. HISTORY WON'T CARE (6) showed little early speed then came with a powerful run to finish third last time out over 6½f at Pinjarra. Should go well again. SUCCESS PLAY (3) last appeared when fourth over 1m at Ascot four months ago. Among the better hopes. ASPHALT (8) was too good for a maiden field last start over 7f at this track, scoring by 7 lengths. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Brad Parnham was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. Harder task ahead this time but can measure up.
