MOHEGAN RULER (1) booted up from the inside draw to race on the speed only to be claimed late and finish 5 lengths away in fourth last start over 6½f at this track. Will take some beating. RAY'S SAUCE (2) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 5f at this track, beaten 4. 5 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Looks well placed so expect another big run. CASSENITE (4) has been racing in great heart with two top-three finishes on end, the latest a second over 6½f at Port Hedland when she was handy all the way. Looks well placed so expect another big run. BLATANT VIOLATION (6) registered his first win last start over 7f at Roebourne, getting home by a long neck. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Re-unites with Austin Galati who was on board last start. Must be respected now that the penny has dropped.
