TOPAZ (10) finished third at Derby two runs back but was less effective last time over 7f38yards at this track, finishing 5. 5 lengths back in sixth after being prominent at the bend. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. SHASFA (7) was a gutsy winner last time over 7f38yards at this track, scoring by 1. 1 lengths to make it two wins in a row. Great chance to extend the sequence. OCEAN'S JEN (9) got well back over 6½f at Darwin last time and never threatened, eventually finishing 12 lengths away in ninth. Has the ability to find the winners' list. ESQUEL (6) produced a good run two starts back to finish second but failed to live up to market expectations last time when out of the placings at Port Hedland over 6½f after she was in contention on the corner. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time.
