CLOSE TALKER (1) failed to live up to market expectations last start when out of the placings over 7f at Derby, beaten 8 lengths. Tackling a deeper field this time but she is capable of running a bold race. SHASFA (4) improved sharply on her fifth two starts back at this track with success over 6½f at this track two weeks ago, getting home by one length after being in the firing line on the corner. No reason she cannot salute again. TOPAZ (5) was comfortably accounted for when third last time out over 7f at Derby, beaten 4 lengths after being prominent at the bend. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. Goes up a rung or two but she is capable of running a bold race. RULESQUE (3) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when second over 6½f at this track. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time.
