MAGIC WHISTLE (2) returns from a lay-off of nine weeks and is having his first run for a new yard. Finished eighth at Ascot over 1m when when resuming last time in work. Makes plenty of appeal in the new surrounds. GREAT EDITION (8) finished 0. 9 lengths from the winner in fourth last start after being in the firing line on the turn over 7f at Ascot, an improvement on his eighth at Belmont Park the run before. This is a nice drop in grade so he can find the winners' list. BORDER FORCE (1) returned from a break and was on dirt for the first time last start when 8 lengths back in third over 5½f at this track. Will improve off that last run and has strong claims. ONLY EYES FOR HIM (10) finished 12 lengths back in fifth when returning from a break and tackling a dirt track for the first time last start at this track over 5½f. Will take a lot from that experience and is one of the genuine hopes in the race.
