GAMBLER'S GOLD (6) is struggling to find the winners' circle but has been around the mark, last start finishing third over 1m2 1/4f at this track. In-form seven-year-old gelding so he is expected to be in the finish. KING MAHUTA (13) produced a reasonable effort when second last start after being in the firing line on the corner over 1m3f at Port Hedland, beaten a neck. That followed a win at Carnarvon the start prior. Meets some better types this time but he has the talent to test this line-up. ZADAR ROCK (1) finished third last start over 1m3f at Port Hedland following a run of three wins on end.
