Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is capable of a big performance. HAFEY (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he got a long way back over 1m at this track, beaten 0.8 lengths into fourth. Finds a tougher race but he has the ability to test this field. GAMBLER'S GOLD (4) closed off strongly last start to get up for second, beaten a nose, over 1m at this track. Kyra Yuill sticks. Sure to be competitive. MAGNABURMA (10) was in the placings when 3.1 lengths away from the winner last time at this track and gets some weight relief here. Should be prominent from the outset. One of the better hopes.
