BEACH PRINCESS (2) is a 15-start maiden who returned last time and finished fourth at Wauchope over 6f43yards, beaten 2.5 lengths. Improvement to come and this is her chance to break through. JOCUND (3) did little and finished 5 lengths from the winner in eighth over 4½f at Newcastle last start after being in the firing line on the turn, a less impressive effort than her when resuming fifth at Newcastle the run before. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. WITHOUT (7) is backing up five days after she was safely held in fifth over 4f at Coffs Harbour against better opposition. Finds a nice race and can make amends. MAGICAL EYE (4) was in the money two starts back at Coffs Harbour but was unable to repeat the effort last time when seventh, beaten 5 lengths, at Ballina over 5f. Open to improvement and should be about the mark.
