EARLY WARNING (10) finished third at Ararat two runs back but was less effective last time over 1m2f at Warrnambool, finishing 9 lengths back in eighth. Finds a nice race and can make amends. VEGA MAGNIFICO (1) showed early speed from a good draw last time and led into the straight but was swamped late, finishing seventh and beaten 4 lengths over 1m at Wodonga. Has the blinkers removed. Rates highly and a bold showing is expected. CHAIRMAN (5) showed good pace over 1m2f at Penshurst last time and went on to score by 1. 3 lengths. Drawn to enjoy a good run on the speed. In a suitable race and can go on to take this out. ALAINGE (11) was allowed to drift back from a wide draw last time out then found the line strongly to grab third over 1m3 1/4f at Morphettville Parks. Among the chances again.
