MISSY SPIKE (6) missed the frame when resuming last start over 7f80yards at Kyneton but wasn't all that far from the winner. Settles back early but winds up late. One of the leading chances. TORN (3) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 6½f at Swan Hill, beaten only one length after being in the firing line on the corner. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. PAMMY JOY (10) has not won for a long while. Last raced on March 1 when beaten 9 lengths into 12th at Wangaratta over 6½f after being in the firing line on the turn. Will enjoy a drop in class so she will be hard to beat. RELEASE THE BRAKES (11) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at Kyneton, beaten 3 lengths into seventh. Nicely placed to find some form.
