SHOELESS (2) made a strong late bid but just failed to pick up the winner last start over 7f62yards at Kilmore. Going well and has strong prospects. WASHINGTON (6) built on a nice third two starts back at Cootamundra with success over 1m at Wodonga three weeks ago, getting home by a head. Cory Parish scored on him last time and retains the mount. Going up a level this time but he is good enough to play a major role. HEM Set Weights ORTH (1) wound up strongly last time out to finish 0.8 lengths adrift in third over 7f124yards at Yarra Valley. Top-three prospects.
