BLACK RIVER (5) wasn't far away on debut last start over 5½f at this track (Dirt), finishing second and beaten 0. 8 lengths. Will be very hard to beat with that run under the belt. COUSIN JOE (2) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing second last time out over 6f at this track (Dirt). In a suitable race and can go on to take this out. NIGEL (1) is a nicely bred three-year-old colt on debut. By Sky Mesa from Eye'll Be Fine who has produced plenty of winners. Comes out of the strong juvenile stable of William D Cowans. Jumps from a favourable gate and is certainly worth considering. HIPPY GILMORE (3) finished midfield on debut last time out, safely held 17 lengths from the winner over 6f at this track (Dirt). Worth another chance with race experience now in the locker.
